Winter Storms

One of the many features of the NewEarth world aside from the green sky, two suns, two moons and much longer days is the quick turn of weather. Although to be honest here on old earth we’ve recently seen some quickly developing storms that do some terrible damage to life and property.

Violent storms can happen in all seasons on NewEarth, but the worst are the winter storms when the temperature drops suddenly, and a fierce wind drives the cold through your bones. Not only is it unpleasant and uncomfortable, it can be downright deadly.

Gordon’s Pride has a few surprise storms and each book has its own weather challenges. One of the stories even has a spectacular swarm of bugs. Nature in all her glory dishes out surprises no matter what planet you’re on.
