What kinds of talents?

What kinds of talents can exist on NewEarth? This is a question I was asked by a reader, but I pretty much told him to keep reading. After some consideration I thought I could say a little more.

The power of the planet can be used in lots of ways, including ways the planet probably never intended. Human or dragon ingenuity is likely to take the raw connection and use it to make their lives easier. From the power to separate things, like one color gold from another, to use it for washing cloth, leather and fur. Lots of different talents can emerge and combined with various skills the combinations are endless.
