Traveling
As we move along, admiring the spectacular western scenery, I squint and imagine what it must have been like five to seven hundred years ago. Then I change some of the trees to red, put a dragon or two in the sky, others perched on Messas and shine a green light on everything.
My focus keeps wandering but everything we see is amazing. The conservation efforts in each state is different, but we are seeing clear evidence that people are doing what they can to conserve water, clean up the pollution and limit emissions.
When I first wrote the NewEarth series, conservation concerns were not disputed in favor of big business making money. Science deniers were believed to be in the minority and climate change was a concern or everyone on the planet. I had no idea it would become a hot topic of concern and fall into disfavor on the federal level.
