Toe Jam
I am sure as am not the only one who has lived a life that can be measured in toe injuries. I broke my toe just before 8th grade graduation, I was helping my mom clean the floors. Yes, it made walking in heals for the first time a bit of a challenge.
In high school I broke a toe but I am not sure if I remember the story correctly. It had to do with stubbing it really hard on something.
I broke a toe in college, but that wasn’t nearly as bad as when I hit myself in the face with a hammer. So I hardly think that should count.
I broke a toe when I was working in a residential facility, someone stomped on it. Later I broke a toe running up stairs bare footed.
I dropped a rim of a frying pan on my toe and broke the bone. Later I developed an infection in the brake. That one hurt…lots.
Yesterday I dropped something on my toe and it has turned all kinds of pretty colors and puffed up big. Today I have some movement so I am pretty sure it will heal quickly. I have a bit of experience with it.
Diabetes hates toes!
We need to compare notes! My latest is a staph infection in a big toe. Healing now.
thanks to a super doctor and a super antibiotic! You may not be able to fix it yourself…..
So far so good. It is healing well. Keep your toes healthy. You need them for balance.
