The Soother

My first title for book6 was The Soother. Hipita who is an amazing character, and somewhat central to the story, happens to have a very interesting talent that goes well with her somewhat prickly personality.     Only I did that with Healing, naming the book after a talent and I did not want readers to draw a parallel that I did not intend.

Instead I went with Acceptance, because it is a theme that occurs repeatedly in all settings of the story.

The protagonist, or hero of the story, is Lars. He is an amazing dragon, a survivor of the shadow clan, a representative of the council, clever, and past the usual age to meet his mate.

He has some mileage; life experiences that amount to 100 cycles or so of living. Those experiences include a huge backstory that gets filled in as he becomes comfortable in Grabon’s Territory and builds the relationships necessary to feel acceptance.

Many things happen in Acceptance, readers meet many new dragons, new humans and even some new youngsters…
