The Faire

Have you ever been to a Renaissance Faire or an OldWest Fair? Yesterday we stumbled upon one and plan on going back today. I love the feel of an old fashioned market, the open air, the hot sun, vendors selling, education and entertainment all inviting people in. Whether it is hand crafts, homegrown food, pottery, blacksmithing or something else, it is always interesting, fun and entertaining with or without money to spend. Yesterday basket weaving was beside conservation, music and food were side by side and cast iron pots were beside the history display.
