Thanksgiving Toast

Raise a glass to family and friends, even those we may never see again. To everyone near and far who hold us together in one way or another, we give our gratitude and a thought, to some a silent prayer. We need one another in ways we cannot explain, to cope with the snow and hide from the rain. We should help out more, we all know that too, but we are thankful today for all we can do. So feed the hungry, take time with the lonely, hold the hand of the fading, and be kind. Embrace the joy, you can complain later, but be nice as you gather together.
