Tech Complications
This somewhat ages me but, I still think of a book as the original lap top. In the course of my career as a teacher I used a type writer, a word processor, a computer and eventually after generations of development a tablet. Having seen all that tech develop and come and go, I got picky about what I use and what I rely on, because like 8 track tapes, you do not want to invest money, time, and energy into a technology that is going to disappear before you’re done with it. All that being said, technology makes writing and publishing so much easier. It seriously fixes problems I had with paper and pen and I am more than grateful, however as I believe I have said before, I do not speak geek. I may love my computers, my tablet and other devices but they do not like me. By the way, bribing them with specialty tea and cookies doesn’t work.
