Tea and Cake

My nephew and his wonderful wife are traveling back to their home tomorrow, so I was lucky enough to have them out to the new house for tea and cake. My parents came along with them and I made a gingerbread cake in the shape of a Christmas Tree to serve with hot spiced tea, coffee, and various soda.

I took the opportunity to make use of their skills with technology and had them help us set up our new larger television. It is enormous, but with the help of a board from Shawn’s stack, we were able to set it up and get it working.

We are definitely starting 2019 in good shape; technologically advanced, and ready to face whatever comes. We even managed to coordinate the printer with our iPads and our TV and our internet. That may not sound like a big deal to some, but for us, it is a huge leap into cyber insecurity and the unknown.
