Superior Species
At the end of book 2, Heron’s Bonds, one of the Farmers tries to stir up support for attacking the dragons, because they are a threat. His brilliant plan is to attack Grabon and his five friends while they are sleeping in Grabon’s nest. His plan is exposed and Grabon judges that this human is not welcome in his territory and he explains his rules of no hunting humans and no hunting dragons in his territory. What would have happened if his plan had not been exposed? Would the Farmers, in the story have banished him or killed him if Grabon had not intervened? How easily are humans influenced to turn on someone who is different?
