Summer Visitors
Summer has always been the traditional time for visitors, and at my house, these visitors are always welcome. A wonderful friend and her daughter have come to spend a few days. To commemorate the visit we found the first ripe tomatoes in the yard.
As summer comes to an end, schools are gearing up, and I am very happy to be walking and talking to people inside a store, selling solar systems rather than getting a classroom ready. Of course I am anxiously awaiting The Hunter’s return from the editor so I can make the changes needed before we bring out the 7th book.
All in all it has been a wonderful season of adjusting to the new house, gardening, having house guests and spending time with my husband and my parents. Hopefully as the season begins to change we can all give a sigh of relief as temperatures go back to a more livable level.
You’ve had a few upheavals, too!
