Snow Removal
We got more than a foot of snow, but less than the two feet they were predicting. It gave me a chance to play with my snow blower and Shawn could use his big scoop. We were as excited as 2 kids on a snow day as we dressed to go outside and clear the white stuff away.
You can only imagine how disappointed Shawn was when he realized the snow was too whispy and light to work properly with his scoop and scooter method. It came over the top piling up on the scooter. He was going to have to wait for a better snowfall. On the other hand, our neighbor, came out with his giant snow blower and made huge swaths in our snow, clearing the way so Shawn could get out and around.
With 2 snow blowers running and snow flying there isn’t a lot of conversation, but we were grateful and immediately moved to pay it forward, finding other neighbors who needed a hand and going over to make their day a little brighter. In short order everyone was pretty much dug out and we went inside to peel off our snow encrusted clothes. I think I looked like a rock candy sculpture, Shawn was more inclined to say I was rolled in powdered sugar. In either case, you get the idea. Now I am off to work on book 7. Have a great day everyone!
Looks pretty much like ours! But we await the snow blowers of our complex. They do the little ‘streets’ and ‘sidewalks’ first, then plow out the parking spaces as soon as people move their cars. Works pretty well!
We officially got 6″ of snow. Looks like more t me, but that may be due to the drifting. Lots of wind. Glad you stocked up on dog food yesterday!
Stay warm and happy!
