Skunk

My husband loves the critters of our world, and don’t get me wrong, I have a fondness for them as well. He studies what they eat, makes healthy choices for them and makes sure they have ample supplies and opportunities to eat on our property. That being said, when a skunk showed up at the feasting center by the door, he took lots of pictures. The second night, we keyed the skunk so we knew what kind and discovered that our striped friend was likely looking for a winter home.

New mission, how to make our house undesirable property to a skunk. We brought a dog over to visit. The neighbors dog went sniffing around. The food disappeared. A neighborhood cat prowled around.

With a little luck our striped friend will move on and we can go back to feeding the rest of them.
