Sexual Equality

Do people really believe that equality for women means that men can give only the parts of their traditional power that they want to? Not the parts they traditionally abused? Not the parts they are afraid women will abuse? 

Women have always known that a man had the power to ruin them with a well placed lie, or the truth by calling them on their sexual practices or indiscretions.

Women have always known that no matter what their physical or mental condition, they are responsible for what they do and what they say and the men of this world will hold their words and actions against them.

Women have always known that their reputation needed to be guarded, because men will smear a person’s reputation and destroy them if given half a chance.

Men are learning that equality means men are now going to be held to the same standard, with the unfortunate same risks and dangers. Welcome to the world of risk that women have navigated since… forever.
