Save the Hot Tub

Th adventure continues, we paid to have the electricity moved, turns out the old wire was not reusable, the pipe had been exposed and corroded. So new wire, new shut off, the other box was a fake shut off, this one works. The big move should be Friday. We have a crew of strong men coming to wrestle it. The door needs to be cut to get it out, then it has to be lowered 6 feet. Transported around a fence, through a gate and placed on blocks. The rock pad is set and waiting.

Now that the electric is set up, we are one step closer to being able to soak our cares away. I have done a bit of research on hot tubs and it sounds like I will need to run it every day. What a sacrifice, but I think I can manage. But before we get to the soaking, there are still a lot of steps.

I need to find a company that sets up and repairs hot tubs. I’ll make an appointment and have someone come out right after it is moved. We’ll pay them to set it up the first time, make sure it is all good and make any repairs needed.

For those who missed the #Save the hot tub mission, we have an old, huge, hot tub in an unstable building that we are moving to an accessible location. We are hoping to bring it into use. It has not been used in at least 7 years.
