While many people have rigid ideas of what a dragon should be, my own thoughts on the subject have always been a bit more fluid. In the beginning I considered having them have long hair, manes, and a less solid body type, but with six appendages, one set being wings. In the end I kept the wings and went with short hair. As to their intelligence and other traits, well…

We have many friends in Alaska and this morning early, they were shaken awake by a seismic event. Sirens blared, the ground shook, and  the threat of battering waves of sea water forced them from their homes into designated safe zones. Fortunately they are all safe, sane and hopefully sleeping by now. I do not miss the joys of living in the ring of Fire.
