ReArranging
The last couple of days I have been helping my folks rearrange things so a delivery can be made. Today we did the last of it, removing some safety bars from the doorway. Those safety bars are important for my parents to keep them spirometer falling, to add support as they go up and down the three steps into and out of the house. When Shawn and I put those in, we did it so they would really be supportive.
That being said, the heads of those screws were stripped when we started trying to take them out. With perseverance, I managed one side. Shawn even brought over the drill and tried to drill into the other screws to back them out, but no luck.
So either the delivery people will manage, or we will give them another entrance by opening the dog yard and bringing it through the sliding doors. All that work, and it may have been for nothing, or rather not for nothing, but not needed right now.
Itβs like when you clean for company, but the company cancels. You still have a clean house.π€·πΌββοΈ Either way the delivery will happen and it will all be good. In any case it was great spending the time with my parents.
Sounds like a terrific amount of work! Hello to Alice & Bill!
