Reading

Like all good writers, I spend a portion of my day consuming words as well as producing them. Some days it is Feehan, some days it is Leigh. If my mood is right it is Bishop or Garwood. Roberts is always a possibility, Howard touches my heart every time. I read multi genre, various time periods, contemporary, action, romance and historical. I am not sensitive to explicit anything but horror, but I insist on a good plot and a happy ending. Unfortunately my imagination does nasty things with other people’s horror, so I avoid it. With my schedule running so tight, I am lucky if I manage to read 2 books a week. Often I am rereading as a new story will suck me in and hold me until the end. When I get to a spot where that can happen, I dive into my new story pile like it was a cool bath on a blistering hot day. Reading is a huge part of my life, it fills a raging need, a craving for people and story that makes sense and ends well.
