If you have read Heron’s Bonds you know that Trissy and Hanna are both pregnant, but I wonder if you have considered how the mating bond works with pregnancy. First off, their lives are linked, so if the female dies, before, during or after delivery, the pair dies. Second, they share emotional energy. If she is moody and out of sorts, so is he. They may not express it the same way, but the emotions are the same. Then there is the general physical discomfort and pain, which is shared. Yep pregnancy with a mate is a whole different ball game.
