Open Gates

Having large 4 footed visitors at our bird feeders is funny, until the garden goes in. Because the bird food is not going to be the main attraction when there are corn and beans plants growing in my plot. Last year a single cow took out the corn. It doesn’t take them long to eat and trample a garden into a mess, in fact if it was an Olympic sport, these cows might win a medal. Yesterday we had trouble keeping one of the horses from eating my pansies. They are in a hanging basket and I kept them alive all winter inside. I just took them outside for some sun and one of the horses tried to eat them. I was lucky Shawn was there to rescue them.
