I had a wonderful opportunity during the month of November to be part of a fifth grade groups adventure in writing their first novels. They did a spectacular job and oozed enthusiasm. What a great group of students in Kodiak, Alaska. The world is a better place for having such wonderful creative people as part of it.

Having taught high school for so many years, I have a unique perspective on human nature and behavior, because teens often do not have the civilized veneer of most adults and they say what they think.
