New Shirt

Like a ton of other people, I got a new shirt for Christmas. I wore it for the first time yesterday and discovered an odd little problem. I am guessing that most of you have encountered a problem like this with a piece of clothing, it rides up.

It is an underlayer shirt, meant to be worn under other clothes so it is soft and formfitting and warm. It is pretty too, the material being a soft sea foam green.

I had it on under one of my tunics when we went to the store. I noticed that it shifted a bit as we were getting in the truck and I reached under the tunic and tugged it into place. By the time we arrived at the store, after basically sitting still in the car, the fabric had bunched under my breasts. I thought that was weird. Obviously I fixed it, doing my best not to expose skin to the outside cold before we went into the store.

I’ll save you the details, but by the time we were leaving the store I looked like I was wearing a sea foam colored scarf around my neck. The shirt had ridden up, coming out the neckline of my tunic, leaving my chest cold and my neck warm.

Yeah, that is not going to be my favorite shirt.
