New Illustrations

Athena, my very talented artist and illustrator has managed to bring much of my world into living color. I enjoy her style and imaginative additions as well as the incredible skill it takes to work from description and produce a picture that everyone can share.

This latest beast is a ripper, good in stews and meat pies, I imagine the meat is similar to a wild boar. Obviously the fur is warm and the hide is admired by Brom and many others. It is certainly not as large as a cattle, but big enough to be a threat to humans and dragons if they are caught on the ground.

It acquired the name ripper from a human settler who when he first saw it and described it as, “A beast that could rip right through the underbrush.” After that someone called it a ripper and the name stuck.
