My Office

Because we have recently lived in small spaces, when we moved into this house, we decided to split the storage between my office and the spare room. That means those rooms are jammed with all types of miscellaneous items, holding twice or three times the contents of every other room. This time Shawn’s tools were in with the laundry, making them more accessible. The best laid plans always have a bit of a hitch. He is looking forward to the garage!

Anyway when I started the packing, I started with the spare bedroom, the storage, the closet, then the entire contents of the room. Next was my office. Amazingly I am almost done with that, or will be by the end of today. I am also looking at the calendar and trying to figure out the pacing of how much I should pack on each day, how much time remains for sorting. Every minute I have to sort on this end will make it easier to unload and put away on that end.

Then I sit back in my chair and wonder if other people actually try to puzzle this out or if they just impulsively do all they can until it is done. I am a plotter by design, no way can I leave it all to chance.
