Memorial Day Weekend

Like every weekend there is a lot to accomplish, but with this 3 day weekend, the family gathers. We cook, play games, work hard, and party together. As many people know, we are cleaning out the family farm. There is a never ending list of things to do, so many things to sort, look through, but this weekend we are tackling the basement.

I have spent hours and hours on the grounds, my husband has spent months sorting rooms and making piles. We have donated and tossed lots of things. There are things we are moving, items we are keeping, treasures we will be selling, or donating. It is exciting to see a new pathway forward, and I hope everyone takes some time this Memorial Day to clean out the old and make way for something new.

Be sure to remember those who built our land of hope and glory. The men and women who have fought for our freedom and prosperity, those who climbed aboard ships and planes, hoping for a new start, a better life, and worked feverishly to make it possible. Above all that, make some time to read a good book, and find your happy place. 🤪
