Lars and Porter

If you have ever moved into a new neighborhood, you know that your first friend isn’t necessarily the best choice, but it is the first person you get to know in a new area.

It isn’t any different for a new dragon coming into an unfamiliar territory. They meet others, make friends and surface connections and little by little find people they have more in common with.

In a mixed species society where humans and dragons are friends with one another, to an outsider, some of those friendships seem odd, unless you know their backgrounds.

Lars and Porter become friends… it takes some work, but they do. They have a lot of things in common, but it takes them some time to realize it.
