Holiday, Sickness, and Books
First I want to say happy NewYear! My head is still spinning from the holidays. I guess I got sick right after Christmas and have been fighting this cold that morphed into bronchitis until I went to the doctor for some of the good stuff (antibiotics) that beefed up my immune army of soldiers and sent them off to war. While the battle is being fought my head is clear but my body is weary. Yogurt and ginger tea are definitely in my plans. I saw the vampires this morning and while they process my blood, examining it for cholesterol and a bunch of boring stuff, I am going to focus on recovery, writing, and family. I got a packet of work from Jo, my editor, waiting for me.
My birthday was yesterday and while I was too sick to do much, we did discover an amazing place. You call and they bring you food! It is an amazing exchange, and the food they brought was pretty incredible, eggplant parmigiana, creamy chicken Alfredo, yeah it was really good and comforting.
As soon as I am really healthy a new adventure awaits. I am going to be looking at a day job, something to get me out and about, maybe provide insurance and some steady predictable income. I have no real dedication to a particular field. We’ll have to see what I find.
In any case, hopefully I will be back to blogging regularly and predictably. Getting sick was no fun, but I am on the road to recovery and doing much better. Yesterday I read Christine Feehan’s: Covert Game. I have long been a fan of the Game series, and just about anything Feehan writes.
Happy reading everyone!
Happy Belated birthday! Glad to hear you are recovering!
Thanks and thank you for the wonderful card!
