Hektor

If you have read far enough into the series, into or passed book 5, you have met Hektor, the owner of the market booth they call the ‘Office.” He is Gina’s Uncle, his match is Hazel and he serves large portions to the dragons who come into his booth. Much of his food is served family style with one large platter, and he takes an active interest in Grabon and all the members of the clan.

Hektor’s niece, Gina, for a short time was in a relationship with Zack. She evidently had a problem working, conversing and being polite to other females; that included dragon females. It did not take Zack long to realize that alienating half the clan was not in his interest and ended the relationship.

Gina continues to work in Hektor’s booth from time to time even though her parents have a booth in the market. She seldom makes a comment. Grabon had been interested in Gina’s mother’s set of skills originally and had encouraged her to seek out and speak to Mia about combining talents to set up a territory school. She declined and Grabon decided that rather be insulted, he would simply ignore them.

However, Grabon and the rest of the clan enjoyed Hektor, his food, his hospitality and his company. Sooner or later all that will become an issue. What do you think will happen?
