Happy Valentines Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful, fun filled Valentine’s Day. My husband and I celebrated, bringing a little joy to one another and a few other people as we spread around some flowers and candy. While lots of people use the day in a commercial effort to make others feel alone, bereft, left out or obligated to buy, we see it as an affirmation of love. We love one another, family, friends, and our pets and that is definitely worth celebrating. The pic is the rose bush he found, the first that I’ll plant when spring finally arrives at our new house. It is blooming now and I hope to keep that going.
