Grabon’s Past
When Grabon was a youngster we know that he was very fond of his mother, who was not valued by the clan because she was not clever witted and quick to spin a tale. Instead, she was far more straight forward. Her mate, Grabon’s sire, was the clan historian, busy all the time, valued by the clan and enjoyed. Grabon came from the thinking territories where information was collected, examined, and used. The standard was game play with very little honest interaction. Grabon was a rebel, he learned to fly to young, he was clever, but did not practice a cutting kind of humor. He thirsted for knowledge not information that could be used against others. When he left his home territory it was in anger. He felt he was a disappointment to his home nest and had made things harder then they had to be.
Later as he spent more time with Heron, Grabon learned to think of his mother’s choices with affection. She had been a fighter, mated to a historian. She was not well practiced or valued, and her mate was valued by everyone. While she did not seem to mind, Grabon had been furious over her treatment. It was why he concluded that no talent was ever wasted and that every talent and skill had value to a wise territory.
Grabon’s past helped shape him into the dragon he became.
