Gold Crafting

Gold nuggets, beads and coins are all part of the NewEarth economy. Gold tends to be the currency most easily traded for goods and labor, but it is not used only for that. Gold is also the memory river, it originally holds the planets memory that can be read by virtually anyone with a connection to the planet, but if crafted, it can hold other memories, pictures, thoughts, emotions, even a book. They use gold as a recording device and it has the advantage of being shaped. In Grabon’s territory the gold crafter is Hanna.
