Genre

A good friend and loyal reader suggested the genre for the NewEarth Series is the same as Utopia by Sir Thomas Moore who died in 1535. Utopian Literature, shared by many of the science fiction classics, either highlight a dystopian world or a utopian one thereby pointing out the differences with our own. True, although I had not thought to place my work in such lofty company, this series is utopian and certainly not dystopian like Lord of the Flies or any of the other classic dystopians that come to mind.

Another person said they like fantasy/paranormal. Another said romance was enough of a genre, since that covered the main story. It has been called fairytale/legend/myth and family/saga literature as well as science fiction/fantasy urban/paranormal. Let me know what you think fits best, because I am of the mind that it doesnโ€™t matter so long as people read and enjoy it. ๐Ÿ˜Š However for those who need a shelf to put it on in a well organized book store or library, it does make a difference. Currently it is housed in fantasy/romance/paranormal.
