Eating 🍎🍎🍎
My parents dog grew up in a house with an orchard and even through this last move, they still have an ample supply and variety of apples for her to choose from. There are at least five apple and two pear trees in the new place. This morning on the great morning apple hunt, she chose one still on the tree after sniffing and rolling around more than two dozen apples on the ground. Pointing with her nose and licking her lips, she got her point across and I picked it for her. With the morning task complete, she proceeded to the back of the house so she could lie in the sun drenched grass and eat her choices without the distractions of the front property. When she was done, she came inside to lounge in the shaft of sunlight that warms her favorite spot of rug. Francie is almost 14 human years and she is 100+ lbs of fiercely protective German Shepherd. No bad guy would ever guess that she delicately hunts apples for her morning snack.
