Dishes

The modern convenience of a dishwasher is nice for people that have them, but it does not erase the chore. Someone still has to scrape, rinse and stack those dirty dishes. Then the machine needs to be set up to wash and dry and later unloaded so more dirties can be added. It is I easier than on NewEarth, but the chore is still a never ending cycle. I try to highlight those never ending cycles in my stories to show that even in fiction, someone is stuck with the dishes.
