I was having one of those interesting discussions with Grabon. I do that sometimes. I’m the writer and I know my characters so well that sometimes I talk to them. Anyway I asked him if he were to establish a territory here on OldEarth where it would be? First off he thinks we’re all crazy and should get on the nearest transport and go somewhere else, another planet, where technology has not impaired our ability to think and solve problems for ourselves. But after enough prodding he did answer the question. He would find a remote place, uninhabited by humans. I asked him why, when in the stories he accepted humans. He looked back at me and said, “not these humans.” I pushed and asked him what made us so different. Can you guess what he said?
