Colors and Markings

Dragons have interesting pigments in their skin with various markings. Many of those markings develop over time, but some are present at birth. The skin pigments come in various colors with different intensities. Most dragons do not make too much of the coloring or markings, but of course some of them wish to assign meaning to them. In book 5 you learn more about that.
