After arriving on the lush new planet, surviving the storm that blew over shelters and containers, and our first night without technology, a flying beast swoops in and lands. Needless to say, everyone went screaming away and hid. It didn’t take long for our bravest to do their best to drive it off. All manner of smuggled weapons emerged, leaving us with the internal conflict of what to do about that, but even worse, none of those weapons seemed effective in driving off the flying beast. Later someone would call it a dragon, but at the time, we were all in shock. It seemed to decide to leave on its own and flew away. It was months before we relaxed and quit watching the sky in fear.
