Christmas Coffee

About a year ago, a friend of mine from Hawaii sent me a basket of goodies, coffee included. I hoard that stuff like it is gold and make a single cup at a time and relish the chocolate macadamia nut brew, the scent and the flavor as it fills my senses and sends caffeine rushing through my veins. (All the other flavors were good too but I think this one is my favorite.)

Christmas Eve morning as I am baking cookies and getting things going is the perfect time. So once again Sam, thanks.

My old coffee pot gave up the ghost and I was forced to buy a new one last week. I settled on a new kind of contraption, it makes my pods and also brews a single cup from grounds. I was unsure of the ground function until this morning. Yep, it does a great job no matter whether it is ground coffee or one of the pods.
