Character Driven
One of my favorite reviews was only 3⭐️ For Gordon’s Pride, but it said after you get past the dragons and the mystery of why people are trying to kill Hanna, Gordon’s Pride takes on the quality of “Little House On the Prairie” type of interaction.
That is a nice way of saying all the action, all the conflict, is character driven, no detached narrator feeding you lengthy descriptions, or offering an objective view point, instead it is all seen and felt through one character or another with nothing happening beyond their perception to distract the reader.
While some of the adventure is physical in each story, some is emotional, and still others intellectual. The characters in my stories grow, stretch and become greater than they began, or at least that is my plan. I thought he put it rather well and while he did not see it as something desirable, I am bettering other readers will. So if you are interested in a series like “Hallmark Movies” or the very famous “Little House” tv show, pick up a few NewEarth novels and get lost in the world of dragons and humans as they find a way to coexist. Witness as Grabon and Heron do their best to prevent any open violent conflict.
