Character Confusion

When I began writing the series, I had no intention of writing a series, much less an interwoven series with so many characters that the average reader needed a chart to keep track of everyone and what species they are.

By the third book, most people are looking for clues to confirm the idea that Brom and Pit are dragons, and they are waiting for Hess and Tad to sit in a chair or do something else to prove they are humans. Let’s face it, there was always some confusion about Heron and it only gets worse as the books continue and the story grows.

By the fourth book most people find that keeping dragons and humans straight has given way to sorting out relationships and who is related, bonded, who has what background. Athena managed to put a lot of information in the charts and I did a word based character chart in the front of the book.

I hope it helps readers and simply ignore everything you don’t yet know and characters you have not met. We are continually updating the charts to go with the latest release, but if you are reading at a different speed, no worries.

Happy Reading!
