A Cauldron of Candy

Aside from the cauldron of chocolate treats, we are not decorated for the holiday. Of course we have one of the best excuses, we are in process of moving, packing, going out of our minds. In some ways my house has been Halloweened for the last two weeks. Shifting items, furniture, disappearing items. You can be sure both Shawn and I have added a few drops of blood here and there.

Here in Missouri, the weather is warm, skies are clear and no snow suits are needed. Up north where we used to live, snowsuits were the norm for this holiday and the costume was either worn under or over, depending on family design. Rich kids had two costumes, one for inside, and another for outside.

While we are not returning to Alaska moving north enough to feel the cool winds of autumn will be a relief.

Happy Halloween everyone, may all the ghosts and goblins enjoy your treats and leave no tricks behind.

be sane, safe and have fun! Be nice to everyone, storbought, homemade or just clever is good enough to have fun. Do not make someone else feel 😢!
