A Beautiful Day!

I was hoping Jo, my editor, would have a packet for me leading towards the release of book 7, The Hunter, but it looks like her work may be still stalled.

Instead, I spent a good portion of the day outside. When I wasn’t outside I was with my dad. We are having fun planning the garden and looking for interesting things to plant. We found rhubarb roots and a few other things we are looking forward to getting in the ground. But on Wednesday they are predicting foul weather – and I don’t mean chickens. So we need to wait before we put in the potatoes, onions, corn, and kale.

In addition I found the perfect bird feeder for our yard. Others may think it’s a bird bath and eventually we’ll have a second one filled with water, but until then, we’ll use this one to hold the food.

As the job search resumes, I filed more official reports with the Federal Trade Commission. It is never enough to have someone cheat you, pass you a bad check and embarrass you. It takes hours of sitting on hold to make sure it is reported properly. At this point I can go through the details by heart. On Wednesday if we are stuck inside, I will document the last of it along with phone numbers and filing numbers from agencies and file it away. I am anxious to move on and see what other opportunities are out there. They robbed me of enough and I don’t think they deserve all my time.

Hope your spring is going well! Aside from the mess and bipolar weather, there is an excitement in the air. Life is leaping, straining and stretching and encouraging us to do the same.
