Hanna’s washing trick

In book 2 Hanna shows Trissy the trick and it turns out with practice she can do it as well. Maybe she doesn’t get as much water out as quickly, but it still lessens the drying time and amount of work it takes to wash clothing. Trissy’s reaction is of course, I wish I had known how to do this before. How many times do you learn a shortcut that seriously lessens the amount of work something takes? This happens to me regularly, especially on the computer.
