Little Girls

Heron’s Bonds has two little girls that are featured prominently. The first is Jenny. She starts out seeming very young and through the book grows significantly. Not only does she discover her first connection to the planet and make friends with a number of dragons, but she begins assuming more responsibility for herself while those around her help her gain a feeling of security. Matti on the other hand is a child who loses her security and then slowly reclaims it. Through her and Jenny we learn how dragons treat youngsters.
