Tree Root Shelter

In Heron’s Bonds the reader discovers that Trissy and Jenny were staying in a tree root shelter when the temperature warmed. Since we know that storm came on and went from early fall temps to full winter in less that a full day, it is not so surprising that it warmed up the same way. What a mess that must have made of Trissy’s shelter especially when the air temp was just a step above freezing
