Mapping the territory

While my artist Athena works on mapping the territory, I would invite readers to give their ideas of what they think it should look like. For the first and second book there is a growing list of features including the village, farm, hut, nest, sister’s house, forests, fields and cattle. There is also the Taylors place where he keeps sheep, the river, and berry patch. The colonies are some 200 earth miles away so they need not appear on the territory map, but in book two, other features become more prominent including Bernard’s Merchintile, the local market and Mazy’s old house in the village. In addition two other dragon nests are established or at least planned as well as the location of the Farmers Gathering. As each book is released, new locations are discussed so instead of creating multiple maps as the territory grows, we are going to wait for at least book 4 to be released, but that shouldn’t stop you from drawing it out.
