Happy π¦ Day of Thanks and Gratitude
Knowing that most countries have a day of thanks and gratitude, helps with the βPilgrimβ problem of the American story. The more you know about Pilgrims, their beliefs, practices, and how they treated the natives, the less appealing they are.
Taking stock, giving thanks, acknowledging those that contribute, feed, encourage, and help is good for humans. Without days and activities dedicated to such thought, many would just push on, with no real consideration as to how they got to where they are.
My personal list of all I am thankful for and grateful to, is long and complex. I do want to make mention that I am very thankful that people read and enjoy my stories. When we first self published, I was not sure anyone else would like them. However, after 8 books listed on Amazon, and small but regular sales every month, I know people are buying and reading my books. That makes me π happy. So a very sincere thank you from me for your interest and kind words.
I wonder what the dragons would make of a day of thanks and gratitude accompanied by a gathering and feast. I think Grabon would embrace the tradition, but probably schedule it once each season, calling on every clan member to make an effort to connect and offer encouragement and thanks to one another. What do you think?
