Milestones

I recently had a milestone birthday, and it made me think of milestones for dragons. Like getting their claws to show, having their first horn grow in. The first time they lift off from the ground on their own. Finding a mate, getting drunk, pregnancy, giving birth, losing a friend, winning a fight, losing a fight, determining their purpose, joining a clan, building a nest, and saying farewell to a friend. So many milestones for dragons, and so many for humans as well. We live our lives moving from milestone to milestone, skipping some, avoiding others, and hitting a few a number of times. May all your milestones be pleasant and your triumphs outweigh your losses.
