Decorating

Like a lot of people I am decorating for the holidays. And like a lot of people I have inherited the family decorations and I have to sort and decide what to keep, what to store, what to use, and how I want to use it. It is ridiculously emotional and exciting all at the same time. The holidays are some of our fondest memories as a family, bringing friends and family inside our inner circle, we celebrate grandly, lavishly, and with great joy. After these years of grieving and loss it is important to bring that back full force, so here I am with old and new decorations trying to follow a road map that has been forever altered. Instead of doing what has always been done, I am opting to do something more of my own style. There is nothing wrong with putting a Santa hat on a gargoyle and dragon, is there?
