Sun Visor Failure

No idea how this could relate to my fictional world, but somehow it hit my funny bone just right. Last night on my evening commute, with the sun going down shining in my eyes, I tried to adjust the visor and it fell off in my hand.

Yes the whole visor fell down, and it is a heavy sucker with mirror and light inside the visor. I was startled and blinded and traveling a little over the speed limit on a rural road. No I didn’t hit anything or even pull over, but when I got home I tried to click it back into place, but yeah, not going to happen.

In the interest of saving my sanity amongst a busy week, I jammed it in place and put a brimmed hat in the car. I also thought about supervlueing it in place if all else fails.

This morning I drove in the dark, at the first bump the thing fell in my lap, It rode on the passenger seat. On the way home I used sunglasses and the hat, worked very well, but I am looking for a solution for the visor. Any ideas? There is a white plastic doo-hicky that fits in a white plastic socket. Bet I could glue that sucker together.

I wonder what could fall apart in the Combined Territories at the worst possible time and need repair? Would a dragon or a human manage to find the solution? Something to think on. Drive safe, and read for fun!
